The Government of India has launched the PM Internship Scheme 2024 to link education with employment by providing valuable internship opportunities in the top 500 companies across various sectors. This program aims to give participants practical experience and help them build important skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving, thereby improving their employability. The initiative aims to create one crore internships over five years, demonstrating the government’s dedication to empowering youth and promoting innovation.

Registrations opened on October 12, 2024, for a one-year internship program aimed at enhancing skills and providing practical experience. Eligible candidates can apply online at pminternship.mca.gov.in. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 3, 2024, this initiative aims to connect education with employment, emphasizing skill development and offering stipends to financially support participants.

Eligibility Criteria.

To be eligible for the PM Internship Scheme 2024, candidates must have completed High School or Higher Secondary School, hold a certificate from an ITI, or possess a diploma from a polytechnic institute. Additionally, graduates with degrees such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, BBA, BPharma, and similar qualifications are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit.

Candidates who are between 21 and 24 years old can apply for the scheme. Only Indian nationals who are not employed full-time and are not engaged in full-time education can submit their applications. Additionally, candidates enrolled in online or distance learning programs are also eligible to apply.

2. Find and click on the registration link.

3. You will be directed to a registration form.

4. Complete the registration process.

5. A resume will be generated based on the details you provide.

6. You can apply for up to five internship opportunities that match your preferences, such as location, sector, functional role, and qualifications.

7. After filling out the application, click submit and download the document.

8. Print the confirmation page for your records.
