A woman, who recently moved to Bengaluru from Pune, reported being groped by an unknown man while waiting at the security entrance of Rameshwaram Cafe in Whitefield. She reacted by shouting, causing the man to flee. In a post on Reddit, she expressed her frustration, saying, “I hate it here. I hate this city.”

The woman also recounted multiple incidents of harassment she has faced since moving to Bengaluru. She reported receiving inappropriate advances from her mentor at work, who attempted to initiate an intimate relationship, and mentioned that she had received unsolicited messages from an HR representative. Additionally, she recalled an unsettling encounter in HSR Layout, where a man on a bike shouted vulgar comments at her.
