Prominent cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle and Australian cricketer David Warner have taken to social media to express their frustration with airline services, highlighting issues faced by passengers while traveling with IndiGo and Air India.

Harsha Bhogle Criticizes IndiGo’s Boarding Process

Harsha Bhogle shared his experience on X (formerly Twitter), humorously criticizing IndiGo Airlines for its handling of passengers. He quipped that he might invite IndiGo staff over for dinner—only to make them wait outside until the table is set and the food is ready. Bhogle used the hashtags #Rude and #IndigoFirstPassengerLast to emphasize his frustration with the airline’s service.

His comments come amid growing concerns from passengers about the airline’s treatment, particularly in managing boarding procedures and prioritizing passenger convenience.

Several social media users joined the discussion, with one expressing disappointment over the lack of improvements in airline services despite frequent complaints. The user suggested that increased competition could be the only way to bring about real change.

Another user humorously proposed a satirical approach to hosting IndiGo staff for dinner, outlining a four-step plan that involved making them wait outside for “operational clearances,” changing the dining area at the last minute, charging extra for priority seating, and finally apologizing while thanking them for choosing the host’s home.

IndiGo Responds to Bhogle

Following Bhogle’s remarks, IndiGo responded on X, explaining the reason behind the delay:

“Mr Bhogle, we truly appreciate you taking the time to speak with us and share your experience. We regret the brief wait you experienced due to our team assisting wheelchair users in boarding the flight. We appreciate your patience & understanding.”

The airline further clarified:

“Remote bay boarding can sometimes take a little longer due to ongoing vehicular and aircraft movement on the tarmac. Thank you for your support & we hope you had a pleasant flight! Looking forward to serving you again soon.”

David Warner Slams Air India Over Flight Delay

Meanwhile, Australian cricketer David Warner also took to X to share his frustrating experience with Air India, revealing that passengers were boarded onto a flight without any pilots, resulting in hours of delay.

“We’ve boarded a plane with no pilots and waiting on the plane for hours. Why would you board passengers knowing that you have no pilots for the flight?” Warner wrote.

In response, Air India attributed the issue to weather-related disruptions in Bengaluru, which led to delays in crew availability.

“The crew operating your flight was held up on an earlier assignment affected by these disruptions, which led to a delay in departure. We appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing to fly with us,” the airline stated.
