In a life-saving mission, the Indian Air Force (IAF) demonstrated remarkable agility and efficiency by deploying a Dornier aircraft to airlift a medical team from the Army Hospital (Research and Referral), Delhi, for an urgent liver retrieval from Pune. 

The swift operation, executed during the night on February 23, played a pivotal role in saving the life of a veteran. 

An IAF Dornier aircraft was activated at short notice to airlift a team of doctors of Army Hospital (R&R), to retrieve a liver from Pune to Delhi during the night on 23 Feb 24. The subsequent transplant surgery helped save the life of a #Veteran. #HarKaamDeshKeNaam #SavingLives,” said the tweet by Indian Air Force.
