IISc Bangalore Announces GATE 2024 Cut-off Marks: Check if You Qualify
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has revealed the minimum marks required to pass the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024). These cut-off marks determine if candidates qualify for further GATE counselling. “The cut-off marks serve as the minimum benchmark for candidates aiming to clear the GATE 2024 exam,” stated an IISc spokesperson.
The highest cut-off for GATE 2024 stands at 52.7 for the Humanities and Social Sciences (Psychology) paper, while the lowest cut-off is 25 for subjects like Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mathematics, and Mining Engineering.
Earlier, the institute also disclosed the list of top-rank holders across all branches of Engineering. Aspirants can visit the official GATE 2024 website to view the complete list of subjects and their respective cut-off marks.

- Agricultural Engineering: 25
- Architecture and Planning: 41.5
- Biotechnology: 35

- Computer Science and Information Technology: 24.8

- Electrical Engineering: 25.7
- Environmental Science and Engineering: 37.9
- Geology and Geophysics (Geology): 42

- Instrumentation Engineering: 32.7
