IMD predicts pre-monsoon showers in Pune
The Indian Meteorological Department Pune has predicted pre monsoon rainfall in Pune from Tuesday. The weather department informed that the moisture level will slowly increase over our state/district.
A gradual rise will be expected soon. Tomorrow onwards rainfall activity will increase too especially in the afternoon hours with chance of thundery development, lightening & momentarily strong gusty winds.
Initially, light rain may be for a short duration (1 hour or so) for couple of days but it may be associated with 1-2 intense spells. These all are a part of pre-monsoon/summer rain activity. Slowly with this rainfall activity monsoon current will start entering our state. The weather department informed that it is recommended to remain watchful.
