Pune Metro has issued important instructions regarding tickets and travel timings for passengers. Adhering to these rules is essential to avoid penalties.

Passengers must complete their journey within 90 minutes from the time of ticket purchase to exiting the station. Exceeding this limit will attract an overstay penalty of ₹10 per hour, up to a maximum of ₹50.

Travel without a valid ticket will result in a fine of ₹85. Similarly, any misuse of the AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) gates, such as false entry or exit attempts, will also lead to a penalty of ₹85.

Passengers using e-tickets or the One Pune Card can avail of special fare discounts. A 10% discount is applicable on fares during weekdays (Monday to Friday), while a 30% discount is offered on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Students pursuing education up to the undergraduate level can enjoy a 30% discount on their base fare. They must provide a valid student ID or bonafide certificate to avail of this benefit.

These measures aim to streamline the ticketing process and encourage responsible use of Pune Metro services. Passengers are advised to adhere to these rules to ensure smooth travel and avoid fines.

Pune Metro’s initiative to offer discounts aims to promote affordable and convenient travel for regular passengers, especially students.
