Inauguration of Diverse Development Projects Worth 1,500 Crores in Pimpri-Chinchwad
On 9th March , In a significant development, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, unveiled and inaugurated a series of diverse development projects in Pimpri-Chinchwad, collectively valued at 1,500 crores. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mahesh Landge, Appa Barne, Ashwini Jagtap, Umatai Khapre and other dignitaries were present
The projects, ranging from waste management to infrastructure development, were inaugurated and marked groundbreaking ceremonies.
Projects:
1. Vilhevadi Biomedical Waste Treatment Plant:
The ceremony included the inauguration of the Vilhevadi Waste Treatment Project, boasting a capacity of 17.9 Tons Per Day for biomedical waste.
2. Bhosari Pumping Station Sewage Treatment Plant (STP):
A crucial STP project at the Bhosari Pumping Station, focused on energy-saving and sustainability, was officially inaugurated.
3. Indrayani River Water Purification Project:
The initiation of a project for the purification and rejuvenation of the Indrayani River, from Kudalwadi to Jadhavwadi, marked a significant step in water resource management.
4. Chikhali Town Hall (Reservation No. 1/96):
The newly constructed Town Hall in Reservation No. 1/96 in Chikhali was unveiled as part of the day’s events.
5. Moshi ‘Hotel Waste to Biogas’ Project:
The ‘Hotel Waste to Biogas’ project in Moshi, aimed at sustainable waste management, was officially inaugurated.
6. National Clean Air Program (NCAP) Initiatives:
Various initiatives under the NCAP were inaugurated, including the Air Purification System, Dry Mist based Fountain System, and Stationary Fog Cannon Units, with a focus on improving air quality in pollution-prone areas.
7. Kabaddi Training Center in Bhosari Gaonthan, Section 1:
A Kabaddi training center in Bhosari Gaonthan, Section 1, was inaugurated to promote sports and fitness in the community.
8. PMAY Housing Project in Chikhali:
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), a housing project for economically weaker sections was inaugurated in Chikhali.
9. Pedestrian-Friendly Roads:
Several new pedestrian-friendly roads, covering a total length of 12.40 kilometers in different parts of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), were inaugurated.
Groundbreaking Ceremony for Infrastructure Development:
– Hospital building in Gairan, Moshi (Plot No. 648)
– Bioremediation of the old dumping site (Phase 2) at Moshi Garbage Depot
– New DP Roads measuring 12.40 kilometers in Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (Section 20, Bhosari)
– Construction of Municipal School Buildings in Nigdi, as per the Urban Street Design for Development of Nigdi-Dapodi Road.
