Indigo Airlines : Passenger arrested for smoking in flight

The incident took place on August 3, when Singh was a passenger on an Indigo Airlines flight en route from Dubai to Mumbai. During the course of the journey, Singh reportedly entered the aircraft’s restroom and proceeded to smoke.

The distinct odor of smoke began permeating through the cabin, alerting the vigilant flight crew. A subsequent investigation led the crew to discover a partially burnt cigarette inside the restroom.

Upon confronting the passenger about the violation, Singh cooperatively surrendered his cigarette pack and lighter to the crew members. Swift action was taken, and upon the aircraft’s touchdown at Mumbai Airport, Singh was promptly handed over to the Sahara police.
