IndiGo Unveils Exciting New Domestic Routes for Summer Travel

IndiGo, the popular airline, has exciting news for travel enthusiasts! They have announced new domestic routes to cater to the increased demand for summer travel. These fresh routes will become operational from March 31, 2024.

According to reports, travellers can now enjoy direct flights between Ahmedabad and Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Aurangabad, Bhopal and Lucknow, as well as Indore and Varanasi. But the excitement doesn’t end there! The airline has announced direct flights between Kolkata and Srinagar and Kolkata and Jammu from April 10, 2024 and April 21, 2024 respectively. Additionally, flights between Kolkata and Jammu via Srinagar are set to take off on April 10, 2024.

This expansion aligns with the growing interest in air travel, with CAPA’s report predicting a surge in air passenger traffic in India, reaching 860 million by 2030. This not only opens up new destinations within India but also creates opportunities for economic growth.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed the airline’s enthusiasm stating, ”We are pleased to announce new routes to our forthcoming summer schedule, in response to the surging demand for travel.
