Inter School Elocution Competition organized by Rotary Club of Poona
Pune: In the recently held inter-school Sawak Masani Memorial Cup elocution competition organized by the Rotary Club of Pune, in the junior (5th to 7th) group, Zishan Tamboli, Rosary School, Viman Nagar and in the senior group (8th and 9th), Ms. Arya Hagade, N.B. V.M, Baramati won the first rank and Savak Masani the speaker of the year title. 41 contestants from 21 English medium school teams from Pune city and surrounding area participated in this competition held at Poona Club.
Rotary Club President Maithili Manakawad gave away the prizes.
Sunanda Luthra, Brig.Ajit Apte and Niamat Virji judged the tough competition.
The program was compered by Daljeet Kaur Raizada.
In the Juniors category, the following contestants achieved success.
1st Rank: Zeeshan Tamboli, Rosary School, Vimannagar.
2nd Rank: Ritham Kaul, Orbis School, Mundhwa.
3rd Rank: Janhvi Khatri, S.M. Choksi School.
The following were the winners from the senior category.
1st Rank : Arya Hagade N.B.V.M., Baramati.
2nd Rank: Divyanka Pandey, Orbis School, Mundhwa.
3rd Rank : Adnan Syed, S.M. Choksi School.
Rotary members Gen.Rumi Jambusarwala, Vyjayanti Khaladkarr, Turan Desai, Narpati Luthra, Trupti Gowariker, Tasneem and Faizi Dalal actively supported the program.
