Apple gears up for its most anticipated event of the year, with new iPhones, Watches and a major iOS overhaul on the horizon.

Apple has officially announced September 9, 2025, as the date for its biggest event of the year, to be held at Apple Park in Cupertino and streamed globally. The spotlight will be on the iPhone 17 series, alongside updates to the Apple Watch lineup and the rollout of iOS 26, marking one of the company’s most ambitious unveilings in recent years.

The iPhone 17 family is expected to include four models – the standard iPhone 17, a slimmer and lighter iPhone 17 Air, and the high-end iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. While Apple has not disclosed details, industry leaks suggest refined designs, a new camera island, enhanced imaging capabilities, and deeper integration of AI-driven features. Apple CEO Tim Cook has already hinted that artificial intelligence represents the company’s “next big opportunity,” and this event is expected to reveal how it will reshape the iPhone experience.

Alongside the new iPhones, Apple is also likely to announce the stable rollout of iOS 26. First previewed at WWDC 2025, the update brings a dramatic redesign with its Liquid Glass UI – a transparent, glass-like aesthetic that marks the biggest visual shift since iOS 7. Beyond the look, iOS 26 will also expand Apple Intelligence capabilities, offering users smarter, more personalized experiences across apps and services.

Wearables will share the stage as well. The Apple Watch Series 11, powered by the new S11 chip, is expected to introduce features such as Sleep Score and hypertension detection, cementing its role as a comprehensive health companion. For adventure and endurance users, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 could bring a wide-angle OLED display with faster refresh rates, along with greater durability and tracking accuracy. Meanwhile, a refreshed Apple Watch SE is said to be in the pipeline, designed to make Apple’s health and fitness ecosystem more accessible at an affordable price.

This September event comes at a critical time for Apple. With the iPhone still accounting for more than half of its revenue, expectations are running high. Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 lineup are expected to open shortly after the launch, with the first devices reaching customers later in the month.
