IRCTC Launches Spiritual Train Tour from Pune: Explore North India’s Holy Sites
Pune, 21 March 2025: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the launch of the “Uttar Bharat Devbhoomi Yatra with Guru Kripa” under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative. This exclusive pilgrimage tour will depart from Pune Railway Station on 17 April 2025, offering travelers a nine-night, ten-day spiritual journey across North India’s most revered religious and historical sites.
Pilgrimage Highlights
Covering approximately 5,000 kilometers, the journey includes visits to:
Haridwar – Har Ki Pauri, Ganga Aarti
Amritsar – Golden Temple, Wagah Border
Katra – Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan
Mathura & Vrindavan – Krishna Janmabhoomi
Agra – Taj Mahal
Train & Booking Details
The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train offers three classes:
Economy Sleeper (SL) – ₹18,230
Comfort 3AC – ₹33,880
Comfort 2AC – ₹41,530
Boarding Points: Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Bhestan (Surat), and Vadodara.
The all-inclusive package covers train travel, accommodation in budget hotels, all meals (vegetarian), sightseeing, transfers, travel insurance, and tour manager services. Enhanced security with CCTV surveillance and security guards ensures a safe journey.
