ISRO organizes Chandrayaan 3 Mahaquiz

PUNE: The Chief of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), in collaboration with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has invited all space enthusiasts to commemorate the momentous landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the moon by participating in the Chandrayaan 3 Mahaquiz, a collaborative initiative by ISRO and MyGov. The interested individuals can immerse themselves in the marvels of space exploration as well as applaud India’s remarkable lunar journey.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi encourages students to engage in the quiz, promoting it as an enlightening pathway to gain a better understanding of India’s lunar pursuits. Given Chandrayaan 3’s flawless landing near the moon’s south pole on August 23, 2023, the quiz aims to amplify both the celebration and awareness of this extraordinary achievement.

This mission, India’s third lunar expedition, stands out for its objective to deploy a rover to the unexplored lunar south pole. The rover is equipped with scientific instruments to examine the moon’s surface and environment. This mission underscores India’s unwavering commitment to space exploration and scientific endeavors.

 The Mahaquiz serves as an enlightening platform to deepen knowledge about this pivotal mission and acknowledge India’s accomplishments in space.

Here is how to participate in the Chandrayaan 3 Mahaquiz:

1. Visit the MyGov website and sign up if you have not done so already.

2. After registering, navigate to the “Tasks” section and select “Chandrayaan 3 Mahaquiz”.

3. Carefully read the guidelines and then click on “Start Quiz”.

4. Answer the multiple-choice questions presented to you.

5. Upon completing the questions, click on “Submit”.

6. Your score and a confirmation message will be displayed.

A participation certificate will also be available for download. For more detailed information about the quiz, enthusiasts can explore the official ISRO MyGov website. Rewards will be provided with cash prizes ranging from Rs 10,0000 to Rs 75,000.
