IT employees suffer from Kidney stones due to work conditions : Urologist

Hyderabad, July 16 (UNI) A lot of the IT employees spend time in air conditioned offices and lack proper hydration, due to which they suffer from kidney stones and even have signs of prostate cancer. 


According to Dr Chandramohan, Chief Urologist, Preethi Urology Hospital.
Men who are into this profession work towards financial stability and marry later in life, which eventually develops several health complications and can affect their fertility, Dr Chandramohan said. 

Commenting on this regard, Dr Chandramohan, the Managing Director of the hospital, said that most of the patients who come to the hospital are IT and Corporate employees, and their family members. Women who work in the IT sector observed urine leakage, elders have observed prostate and other signs of cancer. Many patients have started to show interest in laparoscopic surgeries, which is new.

With a goal to protect the health of people in these surrounding areas we have low cost packages for health and kidney checkups, he said consuming more salt and meat in diet can cause kidney problems’.
