The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the JEE-Main engineering entrance exam, revealing a notable achievement with 56 candidates, including two females, securing a perfect 100 NTA score.

This accomplishment is distributed between the January and April sessions, with 23 candidates achieving perfection in January and 33 in April.

NTA scores, which are normalized across multiple sessions, are based on the relative performance of all examinees. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session, as explained by a senior NTA official.

Break-up of Top Scorers:

Among the top scorers, 40 are from the general category, 10 from the OBC category, and six from the gen-EWS category. Notably, no candidates from the SC and ST categories achieved the 100 NTA score mark this year. Additionally, 39 candidates faced a three-year ban due to unfair means during the examination.
