Job fair held in Wakad
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former prime minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, “Atal Naukari Mahotsav was organised in Wakad on 2 January 2022.
Job fair saw participation of many private companies from various sectors.
Totally 915 candidates were interviewed in this fair. Out of which, 348 were selected on the spot and were handed appointment letter immediately. And 278 candidates were selected for the next round and for training. Similarly, Atal Job Cards were distributed to all those present for the interviews. Through this job card, candidates, will be informed daily about the availability of jobs in various companies in the city through SMS throughout the next year.
The program was organized for the residents of ward no. 25 and 26 in Kaspate Vasti Municipal School.
The program was organised by Corporator Sandeep Kaspate, under the guidance of Chinchwad MLA Laxman Jagtap.The program was inaugurated by corporator Shankarsheth Jagtap.
“Due to covid-19, many people lost their jobs, this made us to think that we need to bridge the gap between employees and employers. Hence we decided to organize this ‘Atal Naukari mahotsav’.” said Sandeep Kaspate.
