“Where young feet march with purpose and young hearts rise with courage, the spirit of true victory is born.”

These inspiring words came alive at Amanora School’s three-day Annual Sports Event, JOSH 2025–26, held from 9th to 11th December 2025 at the Legends Sports Club. The event, themed “JOSH – Fuelling the Spirit of Triumph,” brought together students, parents, teachers, and dignitaries in a vibrant showcase of energy, discipline, and teamwork.

The opening day was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Parag More, former Ranji Trophy player, who applauded the students for their enthusiasm, discipline, and spirited participation.

Day 2 welcomed Chief Guest Dr. Sandeep Bhajibhakare, Deputy Commissioner of Police, who encouraged children to embrace sports not only for physical fitness but also for mental strength and emotional balance. He highlighted how sports cultivate discipline, focus, humility, and true sportsmanship—teaching children to celebrate success joyfully and to accept setbacks with grace. He spoke of the vital role parents play in nurturing their children’s interests, investing in their overall well-being, and supporting them through every triumph and challenge. Sharing that this was his first school event in Pune, he expressed admiration for the exceptional organisation, the impressive March Past, the lively drills, the thrilling races, and the dedication displayed across the field.

The final day was honoured by National Hockey Player Mr. Ranvir Singh Bhatti, whose uplifting words inspired young learners to pursue excellence with determination, resilience, and passion.

Across all three days, the ceremonies were led by Director Principal Ms. Meera Nair, Primary Grades Head Mistress Ms. Sujata Rathaur, and Secondary Grades Head Mistress Ms. Amrita Gangwal, who collectively marked the formal commencement of the Sports Meet. The unified Torch Relay, disciplined March Past, and reaffirmation of sportsmanship set the tone for the grand celebrations that followed.

Students captivated the audience with a series of meticulously curated displays—Yoga, Ribbon Drill, Umbrella Drill, Lezim, Sports Equipment Display, Flag Drill, and an eye-catching Pyramid Formation. Each performance highlighted balance, coordination, creativity, teamwork, and cultural vibrance. The track and field events further elevated the excitement as young athletes competed with zeal, showcasing resilience, confidence, and the true spirit of healthy competition.

As the Sports Meet concluded with the National Anthem, the atmosphere resonated with pride and applause. JOSH 2025–26 stood as a powerful testament to unity, courage, and the unstoppable spirit of Amanorites—an enduring flame that will continue to inspire long after the cheers have faded.
