Karthikeyan S. Assumes CEO Role at Pune Smart City Development Corporation Ltd.

On Saturday, February 24th, 2024, Shri. Karthikeyan S., an Indian Administrative Services officer from the 2020 batch, officially took charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pune Smart City Development Corporation Ltd., succeeding Dr. Sanjay Kolte, also of the I.A.S. 

Shri. Karthikeyan brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously served as the Project Officer at the Integrated Tribal Development Project in Kinwat, Nanded. Notably, he is also a chartered accountant by profession.

Upon assuming office, Shri. Karthikeyan articulated his vision of propelling Pune Smart City forward as a beacon of urban development and innovation, aiming to set an exemplary standard for smart cities across the nation.

The transition ceremony saw the presence of key officials, including Smt. Ulka Kalaskar, Chief Finance Officer of Pune Smart City and Joint Commissioner of Accounts and Finance Officer at Pune Municipal Corporation, as well as Pune Smart City’s Chief Knowledge Officer, Shri. Dinesh Virkar, Company Secretary Shri. Swanand Shede, Deputy Engineer Shri. Borse, Junior Engineers, and other officers and employees.

With a dedicated team and a clear vision, Shri. Karthikeyan is poised to lead Pune Smart City Development Corporation Ltd. towards greater heights of success, innovation, and sustainability.
