Kartiki Ekadashi in Alandi : Check details of traffic diversions & alternate routes

Pune: The Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police has announced alternate routes & traffic diversions ahead of Kartiki Ekadashi which will be observed from December 5 to 12.

As per information from Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police, the Kartik Yatra will be held at Shri Kshetra Alandi from December 5 to December 12 this year. On the occasion of Kartiki Ekadashi on December 9 and for the Sanjivan Samadhi ceremony of Sant Shrestha Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj on December 11 about 6 to 7 lakh devotees from all over the country visit Alandi. A large number of devotees also go to Dehugaon Gatha Mandir and Bhandara Dongar for darshan. Hence, to ensure safe and smooth traffic in Pimpri Chinchwad City, the following temporary orders are being issued:

Alternate Routes: Via Jaiganesh Samrajya Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk towards Chovisawadi/Vishrantwadi/Bhosari

Via Bhosari Chowk – Magazine Chowk towards Vishrantwadi

Via Moshi-Chakan-Shikrapur

• Entry closed for vehicles coming from Bharat Mata Chowk, Moshi towards Alandi

Alternate Routes:Via Jaiganesh Samrajya Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk towards Chovisawadi/Vishrantwadi/Bhosari

Via Bhosari Chowk – Magazine Chowk towards Vishrantwadi

Via Moshi-Chakan-Shikrapur

• Entry closed to vehicles coming from Chimbliphata Chowk, Chakan towards Alandi

Alternate Routes: Via Jaiganesh Samrajya Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk towards Chovisawadi/Vishrantwadi/Bhosari

Via Bhosari Chowk – Magazine Chowk towards Vishrantwadi

• Entry closed for all vehicles coming from Alandi Phata Chowk, Chakan to Alandi

Alternate Routes: Via Jaiganesh Samrajya Chowk, Alankapuram Chowk towards Chovisawadi/Vishrantwadi/Bhosari

Via Bhosari Chowk – Magazine Chowk towards Vishrantwadi

• Entry closed for vehicles coming towards Alandi via Chakan-Vadgaon Ghenand

Alternate Route: Via Koyali Kaman, Koyali – Markalgaon towards Pune

• Entry closed for vehicles coming towards Alandi via Pune-Dighi Magazine Chowk

Alternate Routes: Via Bhosari- Moshi- Chakan

Via Alankapuram-Jai Ganesh Samrajya Chowk towards Chakan

Via Charholi Phata – Dhanori Phata towards Markal, Pune

• Entry closed for vehicles coming from Dehu Gaon Kamaan (Old Mumbai-Pune highway) towards Dehu Gaon

Alternate Routes: Bhakti-Shakti Chowk to Triveninagar to Talawade Gaothan to Canbay Chowk to Khandelwal Chowk, Dehu Gaon

From Mahindra Circle to Fujitsu Corner or Canbay Chowk/IT Park Chowk, the road is closed for all vehicles coming from Chakan. One-way traffic route will be there only from Talawade to IT Park to Mahindra Circle

Alternate Route: Via Mahindra Circle to Nighoje to Moi Phata towards Diamond Chowk

• Entry closed for heavy vehicles coming from Dehu Phata on Talegaon-Chakan Road to Dehu Gaon

Alternate Routes:

Go to the desired destination via HP Chowk

Entry will be closed for vehicles coming from Dehu Kaman to Chouda Talakari Kaman to Bhairavanath Chowk will remain closed for all types of vehicles.

Also, if an emergency situation occurs in the temple area during this period, the following emergency route has been fixed for the devotees.

Emergency Route – Shri Dnyaneshwar Temple – Pan Darwaza – In front of Sant Kabirbuwa Math – RamGhat – Indrayani Nadi Ghat

Following are the parking arrangements for vehicles of devotees on the way to Dehu and Alandi for darshan:

• Vehicles coming from Talegaon Indori

Parking Spot:Dehugaon Gayran Maidan on Bypass Road, Om Developers Plot

• Vehicles coming from Talwade and Can Way (IT)

Parking Spots: From Khandelwal Chowk from the left side on the ring road towards Parandwal Chowk and nearby open space

• Vehicles coming from Vadgaon

Parking Spots: Nagar Parishad parking near Vadgaon Chowk, Alandi Toilets

• Vehicles coming from Chakan Alandi Phata

Parking Spots: Opposite Indrayani Hospital

• Vehicles coming from Alandi and Chimbli Phata

Parking Spots: Mungse Parking Near Bopdev Chowk

• Vehicles coming from Dehugaon, Moshi, Havaldar Vasti Phata

Parking Spots: Vehicle Parking near Dnyanvilas College, Dudulgaon

• Vehicles coming from Dehugaon, Moshi, Havaldar Vasti Phata

Parking Spots: On the road leading to Kachare Hospital, Gatha Mandir

• Going to all places

Route: Only ST buses, Bus Stand Yogiraj Chowk

• To go to Dehugaon

Route: ST/PMPML, Dudulgaon, Jakat Naka

• To go towards the Pune side
