Pimple Saudagar boy crowned best drummer in Inter School competition

Pune: Rouhin De, an 11th-grade student of SNBP School, Rahatani & a resident of Pimple Saudagar, has won the best drummer position in the competition ‘Battle of Bands Season 4’ held in Hinjawadi school.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Rajshekhar De, father of Rouhin De said, “I feel extremely proud of my son’s glorious achievement. All the credit goes to his school teachers, drum coaches who have guided & taught Rouhin very well to get to where he is today in drumming.”

As per further information shared by Rajshekhar De, the national finals of the competition took place in Blue Ridge School, Hinjawadi on Sunday, December 3 where several bands from the entire country had participated. In the competition, around 1100 musicians & around 120 bands had participated from places all over India like Nagpur, Sikkim, Shillong, Delhi, and many more.

11 bands had qualified for the National Finals held on Sunday out of which Rouhin was crowned the best drummer & his band won the 3rd position. Rouhin was felicitated & given a prize by famous music director Ehsaan Noorani of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy trio.
