Keep New Year eve celebrations a low key affair; urges Pune collector
Keeping in mind the new strain of Covid19 emerged in the UK, Maharashtra government has laid restrictions from December 23, 2020 till January 5, 2021.
Pune collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh on December 30, 2020 urged that citizens should celebrate the New Year Eve as a low key affair.
Citizens should not violate the rules or they shall be liable to action under the Disaster Management Act 2005, Section 25 and also under Epidemic Control Act 1987. The restrictions are put till January 5, 2021 and curfew imposed from 11 pm to 6 pm.
