No Vehicles Zone on from Dec 31 to Jan 1 in Pune
Pune Traffic Police is all set to curb entry of vehicles on several important roads in Pune on the eve of December 31, 2020. Keeping in mind that revellers might gather to bid adieu this year and create traffic congestion. Hence, Pune Traffic Police has prohibited entry for vehicles on several major roads in Pune such as Fergusson College, Jangli Maharaj road, Mahatma Gandhi road. Under the Motor vehicle Act, 115, 116 (1), A, B (116) 4 and 117 , Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rahul Shrirame, has issued orders prohibiting vehicles to enter. Only emergency vehicles such as fire brigade, Police and ambulance shall be allowed entry.
No Vehicle Zones – (From December 31, 2020 6 pm to January 1, 2021, 5 am)
1. Fergusson College road – Goodluck chowk to Fergusson College Main gate
2. Jangli Maharaj road – Jhansi Rani chowk to Khandoji baba chowk
3. Mahatma Gandhi Road – Hotel Arora towers chowk to Try luck chowk (Pulgate chowky)
