Kondhwa News : Anandvan Foundation demands ‘No Hawkers Zone’
The Anandvan Parisar, starting from Anandvan forest area (from Sunshree Kangan) to Raheja Circle (Archana Kohinoor Glory, Ganga Kingston, Ganga Florentina, Archana Paradise, Raheja Premiere) is rapidly developing. With that there is increase in hawkers in the area. Members of the Anandvan Foundation, handed over a letter to the Vikas Dhakne, Additional Commissioner PMC appealing to make the area a hawker free zone.
The members also appealed to the officer to control the menace caused by the eateries and shops causing traffic jams and noise. The members are hopeful that action will be initiated against the violators and hawkers zone would be created to avoid hawker menace and traffic congestion.
In the letter submitted to Vikas Dhakne, the members appealed that the PCM must take action against the illegal hawkers. The area does not even have water and drainage line, which is of utmost priority. The letter was shared by Praveen Kumar, Bhupesh Sharma and Vishal Pawar from the Anandvan Foundation.
