Cleanliness awareness rally held in Wanawadi
In an effort to promote cleanliness and public awareness, the Wanwadi Ramtekdi Zonal Office had organized a rally on 29th March, 2023 as part of the “Swachhotsav 2023” campaign. The rally started at 8 am and lasted for an hour, with participants from various schools and institutions including the Mahadji Shinde Municipal School, State Reserve Police Force Group No. 02, SWaCH, Department of Urban Settlements, Wanwadi Ramtekdi Regional Office, Swachta Captain Maithili Manakwad Madam, and Mohalla Committee Members.
The rally started from Samvidhan chowk and ended at the Wanwadi Ramtekdi Regional Office, with participants spreading the message of cleanliness and public hygiene.
The participants took a spontaneous oath at Inamdar Hospital, committing to keeping the surroundings clean and promoting public awareness.
The rally was attended by Hon. Municipal Assistant Commissioner, Health Inspector, Mokadam, Safai Sevak and Sham Taru, Assistant Commissioner, Wanawadi Ramtekdi regional ward Office, who appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged everyone to continue promoting cleanliness and public awareness. The rally was a huge success, with participants expressing their enthusiasm for future campaigns to promote cleanliness in the region.
