Kondhwa Police Station Holds Meeting To Ensure Peaceful Festivities During Bakri Eid and Ashadhi Ekadashi

A meeting was convened at Kondhwa Police Station on June 26, 2023, to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming festivals of Bakri Eid and Ashadhi Ekadashi.

The meeting, organized under the guidance of Shri Ranjan Sharma, Upper Commissioner of Police, Eastern Regional Division, and Shahu Raje Salve, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Wanwadi Division, aimed to ensure a hassle-free and peaceful celebration of the festivals.

Various officials and representatives attended the meeting, including Mahesh Deshmukh Mahavitaran, Additional Executive Engineer of MSEB, Deputy Engineer of Pune Municipal Corporation, Balu Thorat of Slaughter House, RS Tikhe from Pune Municipality, Mujawar from the Municipal Health Department, Fire Brigade Station Officer Sameer Sheikh, and Somnath Katkar from the Municipal Water Supply Department. The discussions focused on avoiding any potential difficulties that may arise during the festival on June 29, 2023.

In the meeting, it was decided to deploy maximum manpower on the day of the festival, ensuring heightened vigilance and preparedness to minimize any inconvenience to the citizens. Other matters related to the festival were also discussed during the meeting.

The attendees of the meeting included Zahid Ibrahim Shaikh, Founder President of Maharashtra Action Committee of Kondhwa Police Station, Kari Mohammad Idris Ansari, Pune City President of Jamite Ulema, Former Corporator Raees Sundke, Samira Ansar Shaikh, Nationalist Minority Pune City President, Haji Feroze Sheikh, Yuvraj Lonkar, Abid Syed, Haji Zafar Kausar, and Bagh Majjid Trustee Javed Pathan, among others. Approximately 35 to 40 individuals were present at the meeting.

The meeting commenced at 4:55 PM and concluded peacefully at 6:00 PM, highlighting the commitment of the authorities and community representatives to ensure a safe and well-organized celebration of Bakri Eid and Ashadhi Ekadashi.
