Kondhwa resident wins sports cycle in plastic bottles collection drive of PMC

Ashish Sankpal of Kubera Park society in Lulla Nagar, Kondhwa, Pune received the first prize in the individual category among 10 wards in Wanawadi Ramtekdi and Hadapsar ward office for his exceptional efforts in collecting plastic bottles.

He gathered an impressive total of approximately 95 kilograms of plastic bottles, which he submitted to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) as part of a plastic bottle collection drive. The programme was organised under Swachhata Abhiyan by PMC.

In recognition of his outstanding contribution, Ashish was honored with a certificate and a sports cycle. The award ceremony took place at the Mahatma Phule Sanskrutik Bhavan in Wanowrie, where Pune district Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil and Additional Commissioner of PMC Kunal Khemnar, Asha Raut, and Prasad Katkar presented the awards.
