Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal Warns Devotees Against Fake Passes, Urges Trust In Official Sources
Mumbai, August 25, 2025 – As the grand Ganeshotsav celebrations approach, the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal has issued an important advisory for devotees, urging them not to believe in rumours circulating on social media regarding VIP passes or paid darshan.
This year’s Ganeshotsav begins on September 27 and will be celebrated with great enthusiasm for ten days across Maharashtra. Lalbaugcha Raja, one of the most revered Ganesh mandals, attracts lakhs of devotees from across the state and country, many of whom queue for hours to seek blessings.
To prevent fraudulent activities, the Mandal clarified:
- “We do not charge any fee for darshan and do not issue VIP or special passes under any circumstances.”
- “Several fake messages and posts are being circulated on social media and certain websites. Please do not believe such false information and do not fall victim to fraud.”
The Mandal further appealed to devotees to rely only on its official platforms for accurate updates and information.
