The incident occurred between 8:00 to 9.30 pm today, raising concerns for commuters’ safety. As a result of the landslide, one lane on the expressway has been closed to traffic, leading to delays and congestion.

Highway authorities and emergency services were quick to respond, and debris clearance operations are underway using a crane. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported at the time of this incident, and officials are working diligently to restore normalcy on the affected route. This is the third incident in the last few days. Earlier, on July 24, similar incident took place near Adoshi tunnel and Khandala ghat. The highway state police held a two hour block today to clear the debris today. Travellers are informed to exercise caution while travelling.
