Pune News : Liquid Oxygen Carrying Tanker Hits Divider Near Nigdi

In an incident that was reported last night, a liquid oxygen carrying tanker hit the divider near Madhukar Pawale bridge in Nigdi. The truck was travelling from Murbad, Thane to Mundhwa, Pune when the driver hit the vehicle on the road divider. Upon preliminary investigations there was no leakage found in the tanker.

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Fire Brigade and Disaster management cell officials, Police officials were at the acci.dent site for further process.

To unload the liquid oxygen a recovery vehicle was called from Taloja. The technical officials from the company were called to the site.

Disaster Management officials Joint Commissioner Chandrakant Indalkar, Joint city engineer Pramod Ombase, Disaster management cell officer Om Bahiwal, special officer Kiran Gaikwad, executive engineer Ajay Suryavanshi, Deputy fire Officer Rishikesh Chipade, were present at the site. 

The helper in the truck identified as Sukhdev Chauhan has been given first aid.
