Last five days to clear your pending property tax dues
Residents of Pimpri Chinchwad have been reminded to pay their tax arrears by March 31st, 2023 to avoid late fees.
The Taxation and Tax Collection Department of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has issued this appeal, urging people to pay their basic taxes and be worry-free.
Furthermore, the department has announced a relaxation of illegal construction penalties until March 31st, 2023. After this date, the full penalty will be imposed on those who have failed to pay.
To obtain an Illegal Construction Penalty Waiver Certificate, residents can use the PCMC’s official website www.pcmcindia.gov.in and pay their taxes as well as arrears.
The Taxation and Tax Collection Department has set up tax collection counters in each zone of Pimpri Chinchwad where residents can pay their arrears. These counters will be open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. The department has also provided a helpline number (888800 6666) for those who require further assistance.
The PCMC has advised all residents to pay their taxes on time and avoid late fees to ensure smooth functioning of the city’s infrastructure and services. So, hurry up and pay your tax arrears before the deadline of March 31st, 2023.
