Levabhratru Mandal in Pimple Saudagar celebrates International Women’s Day by giving scholarships to girls
Leva Bhratrumandal, Pimple Saudagar presented the first cheque of ₹ 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) to Purva Varade for the scholarship of Pennsylvania Group sponsored Leva Patidar Cares on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 10th March by Dr Kalyani Ingle.
As per further information, Purva Varade, a bright and smart girl from a low-income family, is studying B. Tech in her second year at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Akurdi. She has been sanctioned an annual scholarship of ₹ 100,000 by the Board in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Group.
The cheque was presented at a special event for women organized by Pimple Saudagar Leva Patidar Mahila and Leva Queens.
Earlier, Pratibha Rane gave important guidance to the women present about pasteurization, diet and exercise while they are at home / office. Dr Kalyani guided women on essential cancer prevention vaccinations. A beautiful program of women’s game and introduction was held.
Board President Vikas Warke donated sanitary pad vending and disposal machines and free supply of sanitary pads to 16 rural schools / colleges, equipment and chemicals for science and chemistry laboratory at Janata Madhyamik Vidyalaya Sakri Taluka Bhusawal, donation of Open Gym Equipments at Sripatrao Kadam College, Shirwal District Satara, and four / five day residential summer camp for boys and girls between 8 to 15 years of age planned in May 2024 and appealed to spread the activities to the masses.
The Board provided breakfast to all the women and men workers present and each woman was given an attractive gift.
Dr Kalyani Ingle, Pratibha Rane, Yogini Barhate, Vijaya Chaudhary, Payal Chaudhary were felicitated.
