Pune: Preparations are being made on behalf of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for Ganesh Visarjan as 15 regional offices and various departments are working towards it.

Ganeshotsav will be celebrated from 19/9/2023 to 28/9/2023. As per information from PMC, in preparation for Ganeshotsav, 15 regional offices have organized public cleanliness in their localities, arrangement of cleanliness and medication on the procession route, containers for Nirmalya and Kalash, insecticide spraying, fire brigade staff management at immersion ghats, etc. In those areas where there are no wells, provision has been made for immersion wells and iron tanks.

At the same time, the appointment of lifeguards, security systems, electrical generators, acoustic systems, water pipes, and sewers for quick repair work has been done. Sound and lighting arrangements have been made. Preparations have been made at the level of public sanitation houses, cleaning of toilets, mobile toilets, notice boards, etc.
