Local Residents Pledge Strong Support to Shankar Jagtap Ahead of Chinchwad Elections
Chinchwad, October 23 – In the lead-up to the Chinchwad Assembly elections, a campaign tour for the Mahayuti candidate Shankar Jagtap was conducted in Valhekarwadi, Bijlinagar, and Chinchwade Nagar. The event saw enthusiastic participation from local villagers, Mahayuti officials, workers, and residents. Gujarat’s Home Minister, Pradip Jadeja, was also present during the tour.
As part of this tour, Shankar Jagtap visited several prominent households in the Valhekarwadi, Bijlinagar, and Chinchwade Nagar areas. He interacted with local dignitaries, including former Shiv Sena district chief Bhagwan Valhekar, former ruling party leader Shyamrao Valhekar, former education board chairman Shridhar Valhekar, former deputy chairman of the education board Nana Shivale, former corporators Mauli Suryavanshi, Shekhar Chinchwade, Mona Tai Kulkarni, Aba Sonawane, Ravindra Valhekar, Nikhil Valhekar, Ashok Shivale, Anil Chinchwade, Babaji Chinchwade, Sagar Chinchwade, Ashok Bhalke, Ananda Chinchwade, Ashok Valhekar, Popat Shivale, and Dilip Sathe.
Villagers warmly welcomed Jagtap by lighting firecrackers and performing traditional ritual. During his visit, Jagtap received blessings from the elders. The villagers assured Jagtap of their support, saying, “Don’t worry, we are with you. Your victory will be with a record-breaking margin.”
Also present were former ruling party leader Namdev Dhake, former Deputy Mayor Sachin Chinchwade, former corporator Pramod Kute, city vice-president Sudhir Valhekar, former nominated member Bibhishan Chaudhary, Kavita Dalvi, Pallavi Valhekar, Pallavi Markad, Sudhir Chinchwade, Manoj Toradmal, Yuvraj Valhekar, Nikhil Valhekar, Somnath Valhekar, Shailesh Valhekar, Valmik Shivale, Sachin Shivale, Gaurav Shivale, Sandeep Shivale, Renuka Anandpure, Aniket Dalvi, Pradeep Patel, Bhagwan Nikam, Biraml Chaube, Shivaji Aware, and Kirti Pardeshi, along with hundreds of Mahayuti officials and workers.
Meetings Held in Chinchwade Nagar
During Jagtap’s campaign visit, corner meetings were organized in Sairaj Colony and Omkar Colony in Chinchwade Nagar by Bhushan Patil and Kailas Patil. During the meetings, citizens pledged their full support to Jagtap, saying, “Just as we stood behind the late Laxman Bhau and Ashwini Tai, we are standing firmly behind you as well. You will receive 100% of the votes from this area.”
Visit to Bijlinagar’s Weekly Market and Senior Citizens’ Center
During the campaign, Shankar Jagtap also visited the weekly market in the Giriraj Housing Society area of Bijlinagar, organized through the efforts of former Deputy Mayor Sachin Chinchwade. Jagtap interacted with vegetable vendors and shoppers at the market. Additionally, he visited the senior citizen association at the late Sopanrao Bhoir Recreation Center, where he sought the blessings of the elderly members.
