Lockdown in Maharashtra likely to get extended ; informs Rajesh Tope

On April 21, 2021 the state government of Maharashtra had announced strict guidelines under its ‘Break The Chain’ initiative which will end on May 1, 2021.

But after the meeting of cabinet ministers today, on April 28, it was decided that the lockdown might get extended in the state. As per the orders, all government offices (centre, state, local administrative) except emergency services related to the coronavirus pandemic will remain open with only 15 percent attendance. The official notification is yet to be released from the government. 

The meeting was taken in the meeting which was chaired by Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai.
