Gautam Adani, Adani Group’s chairman, cast his vote at Mahmadpura Primary School in Ahmedabad and he urged the citizens of India to be a part of this democratic process.

In the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections of 2024, actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza cast their vote and exercised their constitutional right on Tuesday. Out of the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, 11 underwent polling. 

At approximately 9:15 a.m., the couple arrived at the polling booth in Babhalgaon village, accompanied by Riteish’s mother, Vaishali Deshmukh. Riteish Deshmukh is the son of late Congress leader and former state chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.

“Family members should help elderly persons who cannot go to the polling booths on their own. I have come from Mumbai to Latur to cast my vote,” Deshmukh said. “The temperature is high, but we can bear it for a day for our country,” he added.

Deshmukh’s brother and former minister Amit Deshmukh and his wife also cast their votes. “Voters should exercise their democratic right and participate in this electoral process. Our country’s democracy is the best in the world, vote and strengthen the democracy,” said the legislator, who is the brother of Deshmukh, appealing to the people.

Union Minister Amit Shah cast his vote this morning, under the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. Gautam Adani, Adani Group’s chairman, cast his vote at Mahmadpura Primary School in Ahmedabad and he urged the citizens of India to be a part of this democratic process. Sharad Pawar, Chief of NCP (SP) cast his vote from Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, cast his vote at a polling booth in Katewadi.
