Maha to face weekend lockdown
Maharashtra state government on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in its important cabinet meeting decided to take stern action to curb the spread of Covid19.
Maharashtra on Saturday, April 3, 2021 recorded 49,447 fresh cases, highest one-day rise since the pandemic began last year in March 2020.
Apart from the weekend lockdown, strict restrictions will be in force from Monday 8 pm onwards, Minority Affairs Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik told reporters after the cabinet meeting.
Guidelines which were issued today are as below :
Friday evening 8 pm to Monday Morning 7 am
Mumbai Local trains to run
Gyms to remain closed
Essential services to remain functional
Restaurants, Malls to remain closed and Only Take Away services to remain operational
No permission to be granted for religious programmes
Gardens and sports ground to remain closed
Cinema halls, drama theatres to remain closed completely
Film and Television shoots to have controlled number of crew
Wearing mask in cabs is compulsory
Private companies to ask their employees to Work from Home
Mantralaya and important offices to remain closed for visitors
School and Colleges to remain closed
industries, production sector, vegetable markets will function with Standard Operating Procedures.
Government offices to work with only 50 percent of its capacity only
Industries to function like before (Protocols to be followed as advised)
Testing to be made stricter at Airports
