Maharashtra: Dangerous Roads in Kasara Ghat: Drivers Appeal To CM for Repairs
Kasara Ghat, the vital stretch connecting the Mumbai-Nashik highway, has become a perilous journey for drivers. With roads clogged at various points, navigating the ghat has turned into a strenuous exercise, significantly increasing the risk of accidents.
The congestion in Kasara Ghat has created a chaotic driving environment where drivers struggle to maneuver their vehicles safely. This unpredictability has led to a rise in accidents, as drivers find it challenging to control their vehicles on the busy, clogged roads.
Adding to the danger, the protective walls in the Kasara Ghat area are in disrepair, with numerous sections broken. Potholes, inadequately filled with paver blocks, have become another hazard, contributing to the frequent accidents in the area.
Frustrated and concerned for their safety, drivers are demanding immediate intervention from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. They urge the Chief Minister to order the repair and proper maintenance of Kasara Ghat to prevent further accidents and ensure a safer passage for all travelers on this critical highway.
