Maharashtra Intelligence Academy receives ISO certification

The Maharashtra Intelligence Academy was recently awarded with ISO 9001 : 2005 Certificate.

Speaking to the media persons, Mahadev Tambade, MIA Director said that the certificate was awarded for the provision of intelligence training to the Maharashtra Police. MIA gives intelligence training to not just Maharashtra police but also other state police force and also the central armed police forces.

Till date, 737 training modules have been organised to train over 21,047 officers and constables. Maharashtra Intelligence Academy also trains its staff in languages such as Urdu, Bengali, Gurumukhi, Telugu, Madia Gondi and Kashmiri.

The academy is located in the premises of the State Reserve Police Force campus in Wanowrie.
