Maharashtra: Trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar relieved from District Training Program of State Government of Maharashtra
Centre discharges Puja Khedkar from Indian Administrative Service with immediate effect
The letter from Nitin Gadre, Additional Chief Secretary (P) reads, “LBSNAA, Mussoorie has decided to keep your District Training Program on hold and immediately recall you for further necessary action.”
Puja Khedkar has been instructed to report back to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) by July 23, as per an official notice dated July 16.
Currently serving as the Super Numerary Assistant Collector in Washim, Maharashtra, Khedkar has been relieved of her training duties in the state. This decision follows a recent controversy surrounding her selection into the civil service.
Khedkar is accused of misusing the disability and Other Backward Class (OBC) quota to secure her position. In response to these allegations, the Centre has formed a single-member committee to investigate her candidature.
