Maharashtra is expected to experience intense rainfall in the coming days as the monsoon prepares to withdraw from the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy rains across several states, including Maharashtra, before the monsoon season ends.

In Maharashtra, the monsoon is set to become active once again. The IMD predicts scattered rainfall in parts of Marathwada, Vidarbha, and central Maharashtra. Mumbai and its suburbs will see cloudy conditions with rain, while Pune and its surroundings are expected to receive some rainfall.

Given that Anant Chaturthi is tomorrow, Pune is bracing for wet weather. Today, devotees will have their last opportunity to visit Ganeshotsav celebrations before the festival concludes. The weather forecast indicates cloudy skies in Pune, with possible rain showers in the afternoon. Devotees are advised to plan their outings considering the possibility of rain.

Apart from Maharashtra, several other regions across the country are experiencing heavy rainfall. The IMD has issued a red alert for West Bengal and Odisha, signaling intense rainfall. In Jharkhand, an orange alert has been issued. A low-pressure area near the Ganges delta and Bangladesh is contributing to the heavy rains in these regions.

As Maharashtra and other states face heavy rainfall, citizens are urged to stay updated on weather conditions and take necessary precautions.
