Indeed, you heard correctly. A new cocktail in the United States is priced at an astonishing $13,000 which is approximately ₹10 lakhs. What contributes to such a hefty cost? Let’s dive deeper!

A remarkable addition to the gourmet beverage scene: the Marrow Martini, an extravagant cocktail that commands a price of $13,000.

This eye-catching new offering has taken the gourmet world by storm. The upscale Italian eatery Adalina has collaborated with the luxury jewelry brand Marrow Fine to craft the exquisite Marrow Martini. This sumptuous drink is poised to make waves in the realm of luxury.

Adalina, located in Chicago, has launched the opulent $13,000 Marrow Martini. Crafted by Colin Hofer, the Michelin Guide’s 2022 sommelier of the year, this distinctive cocktail features a base of smoked heirloom tomato mezcal.

A recent press release reveals that the Marrow Martini is accompanied by a stunning 9-carat diamond tennis necklace from Marrow Fine, embellished with 150 diamonds set in 14-carat gold. According to Fox News Digital, this cocktail offers a rich and luxurious flavor experience.

This drink includes Clase Azul Mezcal, clarified heirloom tomato water, lemon basil olive oil, and chili liqueur. To elevate the experience, it is displayed under a glass chandelier before being served to the guest, accompanied by a diamond-studded necklace.

“What makes the Marrow Martini truly unique is the seamless fusion of fine jewellery and luxury dining. It’s not just about the cocktail—it’s about creating an elevated experience. Instead of traditional spirits like gin or vodka, I chose Mezcal because I believe it has untapped potential as a luxury spirit. Mezcal, much like heirloom jewellery, is often overlooked despite its richness. The particular Mezcal we use is a rare, sought-after brand made from Green Agave, native to the deserts of San Luis Potosí, Mexico,” Colin Hofer, general manager, Adalina who crafted the cocktail.

The cocktail gained attention when a man made history by purchasing it for his wife, a devoted admirer of Marrow Fine’s luxurious offerings, as reported by CBS News.
