Mumbai, October 31, 2025: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh weather alert for Maharashtra, forecasting light rainfall at isolated places between November 1 and November 4. After several days of heavy showers caused by two low-pressure systems over the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, the intensity of rain across the state is expected to decrease.

According to the IMD, the weakening of Cyclone Motha has led to a significant drop in rainfall activity. However, light to moderate rain is likely in some regions during the first week of November.

Mumbai and Konkan:
Mumbai city and surrounding suburbs may experience light to moderate rainfall on November 1. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33°C, while the minimum could be near 25°C.

Vidarbha:
In Amravati, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 31°C and the minimum around 21°C. Humid conditions will prevail during the day, with light to moderate rainfall possible in the evening. Nagpur is also expected to experience cloudy skies with light rain and muggy weather.

North Maharashtra:
Nashik may see overcast skies with a chance of thunder and light to moderate showers by evening. Temperatures may range between a maximum of 30°C and a minimum of 17°C.
