Major Accident : 1 killed, 3 injured as car overturns on Samruddhi Expressway

Pune: In a horrific incident, one person was killed and three others were injured when the car in which they were travelling overturned after hitting a wild animal on Samruddhi Highway. The incident occurred when the family was going to their village to celebrate the Ganapati festival.
As per information, the accident took place near Channel No 196 at Vanoja Karanja in Washim district when a wild animal hit a car going from Pune to Amravati on Samruddhi Mahamarg on Tuesday, September 19.
The family, residing in Pune, was going to Amravati. They left in the morning on September 18. Meanwhile, when they came to Channel No. 196 between Vanoja Karanja near Washim, suddenly a wild animal came in front of their car on the highway.
The car hit the animal hard after which it overturned on the highway. As soon as the local citizens got the information about this accident, they pulled out the passengers from the car. They were immediately admitted to a hospital in Washim.
