Major Accident : 5 dead and 24 injured as two luxury passenger buses collide on Samruddhi Expressway near Malkapur 

In a tragic accident, two luxury buses collided with each other on the Nandur Naka flyover bridge, Malkapur, Buldhana district today morning at 2.30 AM on National Highway 53. 

A travel passenger bus coming with travellers coming from Ambernath bus number MH 08 9458 of Balaji tours driving towards Hingoli and Royal Tours Bus MH 27 BX 4466 driving towards Nashik collided. The Royal Tours bus was attempting to overtake a truck but unfortunately led to head on collision resulting into a severe fatal accident. The incident led to the death of two women and three men and 24 injured.

The injured persons have been taken to a hospital in Hingoli. The officials from the Highway State Police Malkapur and other officials are at the spot.  Out of the 24 injured, five persons are severe and undergoing treatment.
