The transfers were ordered by Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Sandeep Singh Gill as part of an effort to strengthen law enforcement, improve administrative efficiency, and enhance policing capabilities at the local level.

The reshuffle covers several key police stations and units, including Saswad, Baramati Taluka, Lonavala City, Ranjangaon MIDC, Shirur, Haveli, Yavat, Rajgad, Jejuri, Indapur, Daund, Shikrapur, and Bhigwan.
