Manoj Tiwary, who recently retired after a long career representing Bengal and playing for the Indian cricket team in 12 ODIs and three T20Is, expressed his regret about not receiving a Test cap despite performing well in domestic cricket.

Tiwary, known for scoring a century against West Indies in 2011, claimed that his confidence was shattered after being dropped for 14 consecutive matches, and he would like to ask MS Dhoni, who was the captain at the time, about the reasons behind his exclusion.

Tiwary highlighted his excellent first-class record, including scoring 130 against Australia in a friendly game and 93 against England in another, yet he was overlooked for Test selection.

When questioned about who killed his confidence, Tiwary refrained from naming anyone but acknowledged that team management makes decisions about player omissions.

He specifically mentioned the tour of Australia, where he scored a century, and questioned why he was dropped when other key players were also struggling to score runs. Tiwary played alongside Dhoni in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
