Massive fire at Daund based company
On 12th November (Sunday) morning, a huge fire engulfed the entire store room of the shed of Kunjir Bioenergy Company in Daund. PMRDA Fire Officers are dousing the fire.
As per further information shared by Ramdas Jagtap, Deputy Collector & PRO, PMRDA, a huge fire broke out at 5 am on Sunday (12th November) in the store room of Kunjir Bioenergy, Mirwadi in Daund Taluka.
The store room of the company, measuring approximately 50 × 10 meters, along with the shed of the company at Daund, was completely lit with fire. The intensity of the fire increased due to the explosion of an oxygen cylinder in the store.
Jagtap further shared that the truck that came for loading supplies was also burnt in the fire. At present, the fire is under control where cooling work is going on by the PMRDA fire officers. No casualties or injuries have happened.
