Massive fire on Purna-Parli passenger train near Nanded; Investigation on

A massive fire broke out in the Purna-Parli passenger train near Nanded in Maharashtra. An investigation into how the fire started is underway. After the fire, the train was stopped and the fire brigade was called. The fire brigade along with the surrounding people also started trying to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

For the past several days, incidents of fire have been happening in trains in the country. The passenger train fire in Nanded has been brought under control. But the investigation is going on as to why this fire broke out.

The Chief PRO of South Central Railways told a news source that “Fire broke out in an empty luggage-cum-guar van coach stationed in the Nanded maintenance Yard today. The fire was completely brought under control within 30 minutes of the incident and there was no damage to any other coaches.”

Fire tenders arrived on the scene shortly after the incident and attempted to put out the fire.
