In the Bhosari Assembly constituency, citizens showed immense support for the campaign rally of Mahayuti’s official candidate, BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP-RPI coalition’s MLA Mahesh Landge, held in Moshi. Residents expressed their commitment to supporting Mahesh Landge, who has been instrumental in the development of the surrounding villages.
Mahesh Landge, Mahayuti’s candidate, has taken a significant lead in the first phase of campaigning. Taking advantage of Sunday’s holiday, Landge canvassed the incorporated villages in the area. The rally held in Moshi drew a large and enthusiastic crowd.
Meanwhile, a campaign office was inaugurated in Borate Vasti. The rally then proceeded to various areas, including Hazare Vasti, Waghjai Mitra Mandal, Banker Vasti, Tekale, Alhat, Khiradi, Pune-Nashik Highway, Ganesh Nagar, Swami Samarth Colony 1, 2, 3, Gaikwad Vasti, Bharatmata Chowk, and Nageshwar Nagar 1, 2, 3. Former mayors Rahul Jadhav and Nitin Kalje, NCP women’s city head Prof. Kavita Alhat, former councilors Ashwini Jadhav and Sarika Borhade, along with other former council members, Moshi residents, Mahayuti officials, and numerous volunteers, participated in the rally.
In his address, MLA Mahesh Landge emphasized, “The residents of these incorporated villages have supported me even during difficult times in my political journey. They stood firmly behind me in my struggles, and I have not forgotten their loyalty. I have focused on bringing transformative development to these areas to repay this trust. Since 2017, we have executed extensive development projects in these villages, with significant funding provided specifically for this region. I am committed to ensuring ongoing progress here.”
“Since 1997, former ruling parties neglected these villages in terms of development and political representation. However, under the BJP’s governance, since 2017, the development of these villages gained momentum, leading to two mayoral positions and multiple committee chairperson roles. Basic facilities have been strengthened, and key projects such as the Waste-to-Energy facility, Sant Peeth, International Industrial Exhibition Center, IIM campus, Moshi Hospital, Pimpri-Chinchwad Court Complex, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate, and a Government Engineering College branch are all being established in these incorporated villages, offering renewed hope to residents.” – Mahesh Landge, MLA, Bhosari Assembly
